any NorCal? East Bay, particularly? I've been watching, but haven't seen it yet. Just had my only BB XXIV a couple days ago, and, needless to say, it made me pretty excited for XXV (even though it will be different).

 

Any sightings in San Diego?

Last year I drank 24 on my 24th birthday, pretty cool as it says something about a 24th birthday beer. I would like to make it a yearly tradition so I hope I manage to find a bottle.

 

Encinitas Bevmo and a few other Bevmos around the county have gotten it, limit 1. Not all of them have it yet, though. Best to call around before heading over. A few bottle shops have also gotten it in.

 

a couple places in the south bay have this already but it seems today is the big delivery to the majority of whole foods

 

I got two bottles at total wine exactly one week ago.

 

Haven't seen any yet. Been looking though. I love this beer.

 

As of 10 minutes ago, at least 10 bottles at Red Carpet Liquor in Glendale.

 

Not that it will help you, but on Monday night Total Wine in Tustin had a full case. I don't think they knew what they had because there were no limits. I bought 3. Then my friend who is out of town got back to me and I got 3 more on Tuesday. There was only one bottle left. They said they might get more in though. You can check with them.

 

Bump -- has anyone seen this in East Bay recently? Cork & Bottle didn't have any.

 

Not East Bay but Potrero Whole Foods had it this weekend (Sat) when I went.

Haven't seen it in Norcal. But I happened to be travelling through Bend a couple weeks ago and tried it at the brewery. This is definitely a beer that needs aging. Very hot right now, I think it's 12%+ ABV. I bought a couple bottles but they will not see the light of day for at least a year.

 

Good to know. I don't really care to age beers, but maybe I'll pick up two and keep your input in mind.

I went searching for BBXXV today -- no luck, but I did score a few bottles of Sucaba. Very random.

 

Pinole BevMo got this in on Tuesday (1 case). I picked up 3 at 12.99. Larry (beer receiver) said that the order was not placed by him, and that he would try to get more cases into the store in coming weeks. This is the only place I've seen this in the East Bay so far.
