I was at Martin City Brewing Company the other day (in Martin City/KCMO), and they had XXV on tap. Anyway, the special of the day was a French toast plate topped with XXV syrup. I talked to the chef (Andrew) and he just added brown sugar and boiled it down until it was a syrup. Amazing and ingenious. It tasted about how you think it would taste.
