Have you been to the Bridgeport Whole Foods? That's the best major grocery store stock I've seen. I've wanted to check out that MofC for ages. Just haven't had the time.

Yep. While I think the Bridgport WF is a better store all around (in fact, it's the best WF I've ever been to), the beer selection at MofC is at least as good if not better. At least IMHO. Anyway, if it's not too big a hassle for you to get over there from LO, you should definitely visit it at some point. It's no more than a 10 minutes drive on 43 from downtown LO, so it shouldn't be too difficult for you to get to (even if you live up near the LO TJ's by the interstate).

What price point have you guys seen this at? I'm curious how much it will be once it hits seattle. I may stock up when I'm in pdx in a few weeks if it's still around.

Looking forward to it hitting southeastern WA, have a bottle of XXV from last year in my cellar still.

I didn't care for XXVI. The cranberry flavor was bad IMO. Couldn't finish my glass. My roommate liked it though.

have to agree, hoping the cranberry will fade over time.

FYI for those of you in the Portland area: New Seasons has 20% off all Oregon craft 22s this week. Picked up two more bottles of XXVI for a friend for only $13.69 each. And they still had Mirror Mirror too, so bought one of those two. At that price I'm obligated, right?

I'll third that sentiment. Cranberry was a little strong, and the draft version I tried seemed a bit thin this year.

To those saying they're not so wild about this beer, just keep in mind we're still almost a year out from its "best after" date... I picked up three bottles today and yes, I'll probably drink one in the next few months, hold on to the others. But I've still got plenty of XXIII, XXIV, and XXV in the fridge...

This was the first of the serious beers I have had from Deschutes. I had the a glass of the XXVI, and got to also try my fill of Mirror Mirror, and the class of 88 belgian there. All of em blew me away. As for the XXVI, granted it was the first one I've ever had, it was one of the top 3 best beers I've ever have in my life! Dark chocolate baking cacao with a rich mouthfeel and then more dark chocolate dipped cranberries and pomegranate. AMAZING! I dont buy 17$ bombers, but this one I will!
