Black Friday 2014 Bourbon County Release

Anyone know any stores in Charlotte that still has some available?

 

I stopped into Brusin' Ales in Asheville today and they had 2 more 4 packs of BCBS left.

 

Yep. Typical InBev bullshit. Hopefully we get '14 at some point.

 

Grabbed a case of the barley at Ft Lauderdale TW this afternoon.

 

The TW in Columbia only got a single case of BW and Coffee. Ridiculous how different the distribution was from state to state this year. Not hating on Stogies at all, just making a statement about the differences in distro.

 

North Miami still had 8 cs of stout on hand and would only give me a 4 pk, lol.

 

I doubt this had anything to do with InBev. The barleywine didn't move well and the fact that it on the shelves was either due to the distributor, or more likely, the retailer. BTW, I had a 2013 barleywine the other night and it was terrific.

 

Dang... shame I was doing all of that ~family thanksgiving stuff~ . Any other day, I'd happily have driven from Atlanta to Jacksonville for that... alas, I was in Leicester just outside of Asheville. Oh well.

 

TW in Greenville still has Stout and BW as of last night. There should definitely still be some around today if anybody in the area is hunting.

 

Square Pub in Decatur still had it on draft last night and it was delicious. Not sure if there's any left at The Porter or Midway Pub.

 

Yeah, same with mine - dated Jan 2013. Where did you get yours? I got them at Tower Package but don't think it was a case where they were just holding them back from last year.

 

Shot in the dark but I'm driving through Jacksonville and Daytona today. Any chance any place still has Vanilla, I know it's very unlikely but figured I'd throw it out there since Jacksonville was the hot spot and Dayina seemed to be the dark horse.

it is ridiculously overpriced, but if you factor in that no other stores will be getting anymore, so you would have to trade away your newborn child to land this, as well as pay the 15-20.00 for shipping, its not that ridiculous to pay that for it. if there was a store that had it for 40.00, i may just bite the bullet and pay that for a bottle.

 

Anyone in SW Florida know if any stores in Fort Myers or Naples still have regular BCBS or BCBbw in stock? I'm driving through there tomorrow. Please send me a BM if you know of any locations that have ample stock and are willing to share your honeyhole. I promise I won't share the info OR clean them out, I'm just looking for another 4-pack or two

 

Yes, Tower as well; I was one of the guys in line around 715. A friend of mine had 14 and 13 right next to each other and said 14 was low on bourbon and thinner in body. So, I've just got 4 more 13s to go with those I had already.

 

Jacksonville had a decent amount on black friday, but each store that got it was sold out by 10 am. Unless they got some more in, which is unlikely, I don't think there will be anymore.

 

I ended up with 2 2013 and 1 2014 on friday. Not sure which came from where.

 

So I was out of town visiting family in rural Georgia Thursday-Sunday night and obviously no stores around there even knew was Bourbon County was LOL. Now I'm back in South FL. Anybody know of stores in Broward that have any BCBS or BW behind the counter or on shelf? Thanks in advance (crossing fingers)
