Black Friday 2014 Bourbon County Release

Both BCBS and BCBW popped up in Macon late last week. Both were 2014. Curious if we'll see any draft.

 

I don't know but they also had BCBS on the growler station. Maybe they had to wait for the keg?

 

As far as I know we only got one keg here in Greenville :/ not even sure if it was a 1/2 or what, but I managed to get one of the last pours

 

BCBS and Barleywine 4 packs are still available in the greater Sarasota/Bradenton area. FYI...

 

I'm mad I missed that. I probably refreshed their FB page a couple of hours before they posted that, then forgot to check again until Sunday.

 

Per store employee, they held the variants release so that their regular customers who were out of town thanksgiving weekend could still have a chance of getting something and those only in town for thanksgiving weekend had a chance to get something, seems pretty fair to me even if it meant I struck out on even a single Btl of coffee this year. If I knew for certain I could get one of each variant and a 4 pack of regular I would've gotten up early and waited in line somewhere, but since the variants are a fuster cluck so far in nc I'm not willing to do that yet.

 

When did they have the variants release? I didn't see anything on their Twitter feed which is where they announced the BCBS release.

 

The second wave hit SC yet? I highly suspect it is coming, and would like to pick up a couple more four packs of regular and barley wine when it does.

 

I didn't see it because I'm not on FB very often, but I think someone above said it was posted there, not on Twitter like they normally do

 

I found a bottle of the regular in Charleston yesterday (1 bottle limit at $7) that had a few packs. The worker seemed to think that the owner might have had these stashed away and decided to bring them out. Anyways, this same place had BA Narwhal for $19.40, whereas everyplace else in the area had it for $25.

On the same subject...Smoky Oak Taproom on James Island had BCBCS on tap last night for $9 (10oz). What a treat it was to have had it on tap for the first time!!

 

Found bottles of BCBS at a random gas station in VA that has a decent selection of beer, 2 bottle limit, got 2 on Thursday and 2 more on Friday...they got a couple cases on Black Friday...just the weirdest place I've found it in VA

 

WoB Cary has BCBS on tap now, almost no one there...
