Black Friday 2014 Bourbon County Release

The distribution of variants is mind boggling. It appears that NC and GA aren't getting any variants but SC, often times a beer wasteland, is getting the whole set (minus prop). Just don't understand how all that works.

 

Yeah. Stuff doesn't really makes sense to me either. I don't even count Prop as one of the variants, because there's no way in hell I'l be able to land one. Maybe with a bottle of Westbrook BBA Siberian Black Magic Panther?

DERP! Thanks! Same exact label. Didn't even pay that much attention to it. Thought it was the '13. 13.2% ABV in bottles and 14.1% on tap. Interesting.

 

Exciting to hear about SC getting more than BCBS and BCBW. Last year parts of the state got everything as well.

No. We received BCBBW only, and it came in January. Appeared to be a random release, except that ATL got a lot of it.

I have a sinking feeling that this year will be different demand-wise.

 

It will be. There was also some Stout that made it here under the radar last time. I know of one place that got it by accident, as the boxes look very damn similar, and warehouse pulling employees don't seem to be the brightest in the business, so when they ordered BW it came instead. I assume it was here either for a special event, or just a mixup all around.

 

Does anyone know if GBX will be doing any sort of release for this?

 

Would like to know this as well as I've heard differently...

 

Heard from a local in SC that it is happening in some parts, but I don't have a source to report.

 

What Richmond VA stores will have BCBS on Black Friday?

 

I'll be heading to Charlotte, NC on Friday. I imagine all the TW's will get Bourbon County, but can I expect the small shops (Brawley's, Salud, Good Bottle) to get some as well?

 

in Central FL, the Orlando Weekly magazine/newspaper has a Bourbon County Black Friday ad on the whole back cover. Pictured in the ad is BCBS, BCBCS and BCBBW. It directs you to citybeverages.com for more info/locations but they have not updated their site as of now. I sent them a message on their fb page and they responded that they will be updating that site sometime today.

Back cover ad = they wanted to spend money to promote this = they better have quantity to match (and at least one location getting Vanilla Rye.)

 

Going to be visiting the Fort Myers/Punta Gorda area on Black Friday. Anyone know if anyone in that area will be receiving any of the BC line?

 

I'm visiting the in-laws in Gwinnett Count, Georgia. Are there any bottle shops, etc. out that way that are likely to be part of the release, or will I need to head closer to town (e.g. Tower, Hop City, Ale Yeah)? Cheers!
