Black Friday Bourbon County: Orlando

My husband is dragging me to this stupid beer thing in the morning so he can get extra bottles...
I don't even like these bourbon beers.

What do yall think is the best option, TW Colonial or Shamrocks? Happy Thanksgiving!

 

Total Wine for sure. Going to have the best allotment and best prices. Also open up early. Time to hit up ABC for some Coffee and Barley wine after getting bottles from TW

Great point about being in and out earlier, get some other shopping in. They doing 1 rare, regal, coffee and barley per person, while it lasts of course? I know that's what they did last year with VR

 

Probably. That was how it was last year. There's an ABC down the street that got VR last year. Hope they have the same luck this year!

 

And I'm sure this has been asked and answered a 100 times but it's confirmed Colonial will have all variants including Rare?

2:40AM. Shanrock's has no line and a few people sitting in their car waiting for more to show. About 5 cars in the parking lot with the lights on.

Shamrock's was awesome.

As of 8:00am there was less than 80 people in the event section (ticket 81 went out 8:30) - they had posters, snifters, bags of the BCBCS Coffee beans. They had freshly brewed coffee and donut king donuts. Solid event. Met some cool people and the wait in line didn't feel long at all.




I did hear that TWC was solid, had a shit ton and anyone who wanted more reg/coffee/bw/regal was able to go back through the line a few times.

 

yea Shamrock was the best beer release I've ever been too. Amazing freebies and food, plus not having to wait in line after 7am was icing on the cake.

 

Turns out it was possible, even without enlisting Michael Keaton for the Multiplicity assist. One just needed to wait in line early at Shamrocks first, get your number at 7:00 am and beeline it over to the TW line, run that gauntlet and return again to Shamrocks at 9:00 AM. Kudos to Shamrocks for a great event,very well run!

 

There's still regular, barleywine, and coffee at Shamrock. After trying Regal Rye at Public House last night, I'm not sad I don't have bottles of it. Coffee was terrific as always though.
