Nothing to see here. Please move along. They're serving a bunch of old AB In-Bev stuff - nothing anyone here would like.

I'm assuming the line will be out the door, even with the rain.

Big crowd, but line was not out the door. Vanilla Rye kicked in 7 minutes, but was on point. As was Regal Rye. The early pours of Northwoods were heavy amaretto forward...the extract was too strong. A second pour revealed more of the berry flavor for whatever reason...the keg must have been stored in an awkward position because it was like drinking a different beer. This year's Regular was spot on from the beginning.

Yea, it reminded me why I hate bars, you have to fight the groups of people around the bar and the people who know the bartenders to get your order in. It took me about 20 minutes before I could order. Everyone there seemed to have more experience at this event than me, but man do I hate how unfair the bar system is. This is why i’d rather pick up a bottle and drink at home with friends.

The people who had reservations all got 2 pours of VR. The bartenders skipped over me and my friend, and as soon as it kicked he goes what can I get you?

Haha, Regal Rye was very good, still had a ton of bourbon and cherry. I thought northwoods didn’t taste like any Bourbon County variants I’ve had. If you like marzipans you will like northwoods.
