Black Friday Events in OC/LA?

Ramirez beverage center (2765 e olympic blvd, Los Angeles) will have the official So. Cal bottle release on Black Friday, they'll be getting bcbs, coffee, barley wine, and vanilla rye. Beer belly will be having bcbs and variants on tap on Nov, 26th

 

where did you get info on vanilla? I called last week and they said just bcbs

 

per @Earlycsquid in another thread, Bottle Logic's Darkstar November will be released on Wed before Thanksgiving or maybe Black Friday ... I had this beer at Shelton Brothers and it kicks ass!

 

Ok, just found a reply post by Bottle Logic on FB ... Darkstar November is being released Wed, Nov 26 ... Guess they'll have a "special" hours since they are typically closed on Wednesdays.

 

Native Son Alehouse in Santa Ana will have 4 variants on tap Black Friday.

I see they open at 9am. What time do people generally line up for the variants? I have never been to Ramirez Liquor as I just moved to California and live in Orange County.

 

So who else will be getting bcbs and its variants?

 

For their grand opening I passed by at 630/7 and there was a couple of in line already. By opening there was 300 people in line. I wasn't going to wait, I came back about noon, walked right in and walked out with $400 worth of cantillon and bourbon County. But who knows how it will go down this time.

 

Bevmo and whole foods will at the least get some bcbs, whole foods may get variants. Other than that we are still working out allocation. Buzz wine and beer, mission liquor, silverlake liquor, cap n cork, will most likely get bcbs and variants. We are still working it out but those stores are your best bet.

Like @Elbatmanuel said, they had a line for their grand opening so I am anticipating the same buzz. We have incentives for people that show up early that you won't find at other locations so it will definitely be worth showing up early.

Wow great info. Most likely im gonna go to Ramirez since that has been my local shop for about 4-5 yrs. I never heard of Buzz Wine but I should check them out being only 20 minutes from my house. I also go to store this called 2M liquor, the guy there told me he will only be getting BCBS though. Thank you for the info.

I really hope that that's an errant post and its at the LB location otherwise the Seal Beach location might be ripped down due to the number of people trying to cram into it.

Either way I can't wait to try all the variants side by side.

4 pack of varieties will be $26.99
vanilla and prop $26.99 per bomber
totally sucks if this is correct because that price is insane
