AIH had a basic kegging kit with a new ball-lock keg, picnic tap, lines and regulator for $120 - that's going to end up being my Christmas present! I also tossed in a 10lb reconditioned CO2 cylinder for another $60.

The regulator looks pretty cheap, but I'll probably replace it with a dual-product regulator down the road anyway. I just wanted to get my foot in the door, and this seemed like a cost-effective way to do it.

I got a killer deal from AIH; I bought 3 kegs for 69.99 each. Brand new ball locks. Also got some other small items for a good price.

    I was very pleased.

The AiH new kegs I have seen in the store are from China, but do not fear, they look top quality from the rubber handles, to the welds, to the rubber foot. Dang they look nice.

I am hoping that Santa drops a Cereal Killer down the chimney later this month! $90 for a mill is an awesome deal.

For $69.99 for a new keg I'll take my chances with the chicom manufacturing. Thanks for the info though.

Hope they are all good to go like the ones you saw.

Can't be worse than some of the used ones I've bought over the years...

I went with kegging kit deal too to dip my toes into the kegging pool. Can't beat that price, and just received an email that it's shipping soon. My test pilot will be a RIS that's fermenting as we speak, can't wait!

When you get it, let us know what you think.

I almost got some of the 2.5s, or is it 3s, that they have new, but I am trying to resist buying more kegs.

My AIH $69.99 keg arrives today...I only bought one as I was concerned about the quality.

You can always ship some of your older ones to me and then just replace them with the new ones...

I still end up will all of them full. Lagers, ciders and big beers do that to the inventory.

Thus the request for more for me... need more to fill... really don't want to bottle this Barleywine... or that Lambic... or the upcoming 15 gallon Rum Barrel Quad...

Well step it up! I have so many kegs, they can be hard to track. ;-)

Trying to score some more for sure. Got a lead on a couple from a buddy that is now pro and doesn't need as many as he used to. Need to pull the trigger soon though.

When you get in the 30 to 50+ range, you have pulled the trigger multiple times.

Just got the AIH keg. On cursory inspection it seems made well enough. I'm not sure it's as nice as my AEB keg...but it's certainly better than 1/2 as nice.

I want to add that the AIH kegs come with non-standard posts... at least they are not 7/8".
