Not trying to call you out or anything, but is there a chance there was a misunderstanding on either end?

Maybe they misunderstood the limit of 2 to mean bottles instead of 4-packs?

Do you know who you spoke with? Only 2 people in charge of setting the limit.

(Only ask because they previously tweeted it would be 2 4-packs.

I wouldn't hound Heights Kroger, It won't do any good - If he doesn't know you, he won't sell to you.

Not nut riding, just trying to save folks some frustration and butthurt.

Your words: "Not sure why you care when you can just get the beer elsewhere. People are gonna release when they wanna release. When you wanna buy a beer, you'll find someone that's selling."

It seems like there was a mistake made somewhere... It's not 2 bottles, it's 2 4-packs still.

Which is exactly what I did, but that was in response to "D&Q" which is an independently owned shop that can and will do whatever they want as opposed to a corporate owned Kroger where if you *really* want to you can complain to his superior.

same reasons why the whole specs issue came around, they were playing favorites to an extent and it bit them in the ass. I just haven't gotten desperate enough to complain to his superiors because WFM Waugh is right down the street with the same beer, but they are willing to sell if you ask.

I'm not gonna become a regular if you can't sell me what I'm looking for, I'm certainly not gonna buy my way into your pocket with bud light and corona.

It sounds like you do care about favoritism, and Brandon has told me the same thing at his store. I could say the same thing about D&Q. You're a fucking beer store, sell me the beer I know you have, but won't to me. This is not criticism of D&Q, just what has happened to me a few times there. I don't mind, just the way it is.

so you don't know the difference between D&Q and Kroger?

My original reply in this thread that you originally quoted was regarding D&Q, actually.

Hey guys, whenever I get my bottles, I'd be more than willing to open a horizontal of the '13 BCS offerings. I know that doesn't help your cellar, but just throwing the offer out there.

All this D&Q talk made me want to drive over there. Just picked up
a double pecan porter. And spent another $100 on other beer I could've picked up else where for cheaper, but it's sways nice buying a few things from a mom and pops store even if it is a few dollars pricier. Brandon doesn't know me by name but he recognizes me when I come in and always has good suggestions.

    I have an '11, '12, '13, and all other '13 variants.

I'd be willing to open all of mine if people want. I don't have the '13 variants in my possession, but my friend has all my '13 offering already.

I know it is hard to come by here and I love BCS so I am more than willing to open them all with some other beer-turds if we can coordinate something somewhere.

You mean like the Nobi tasting on the first Sunday every month, or the Gingerman the second Sunday.
