I have family in Cincinnati, and I'll be there when Black Friday goes off and BCBS and its variants are sold. Ohio's 12% cap means no Bourbon County at my go to shops in Cincinnati and its environs. I'm pretty confident, based on prior experience, that BCBS will be out and about when I get back in town, but last year, no dice on the Coffee, etc. So, does north central Kentucky do Black Friday, and if so, any events on the other side of the river where I might get variants?
Lexington and Louisville are Black Friday participants, so there should be places in NKY that do as well, but I don't know the area enough to recommend places to shop.
You should be able to get BCBS and the variants at Party Town or The Party Source...both are in Northern KY. But I'd say you're gonna need to get there really early and get in line. FYI...I got to The Party Source an hour before they opened last year and I was like 30th or 40th in line. I managed to snag some BCBS and BCBBW, but the BCBCS and Backyard Rye were sold out by the time I was thru the line.
That is helpful. Whether I will opt to spend a few hours in line is something I'll weigh, but at least I know.
I have spoke to most of my normal places in NKY and everyone is getting less than last year. In fact, my normal spot who got 40 cases in 2012, only got 6 cases TOTAL this year. Be warned. They screwed over the state that SPAWNED bourbon on the bourbon county beer.
