Yeah I was on my way down from Kingwood at like 9:15 when I saw tweets that BCBS would be gone before the end of the line, so I just booked it back to Austin and was able to snag like 4 4-packs without trying too hard.

I was thinking about making the hour long trip to Dallas for both events, but I think you're right. I'd rather just pay the money for shipping on 4-5 bottles of that Vanilla Rye. If it's hard to come by in FW that is. Backyard Rye was pretty easy last year.

 

I agree. Although I readily admit that BCVR is a different beast than Backyard, historically speaking, I know people are anticipating its "re-release", it should be easier. Nonetheless, an hour isn't bad, & I bet the event at Goodfriend'll be a lotta fun

Cultivar Coffee will be coming out on site at 9am to do drip coffee for around 250 consumers in line waiting to purchase BCBS.

We will be purchasing 250 Donuts from Hypnotic Donuts in Dallas. They are a local craft donut shop with a great reputation. I selected donuts that were fun and complimented some of the characteristics of BCBS

 

I'm going to be in Lufkin for Thanksgiving, I think.. this makes me want to make the trek to Dallas the following morning.

 

Might be worth it if they are actually selling 4 packs.

I'm pretty sure its gonna be four packs- either way if you got three 4 packs and the vanilla, you'd be back $80+

However I am excited that this go around we're not having to wait until Valentines Day for the Bomber

 

4packs are split and sold in singles. At least 10-15 places I frequent in DFW do.

 

Agreed, but last year CM sold them as 4 packs. And it's likely this year specs will too. Grabted if ya go to 10-15 places frequently that should result in a decent Vanilla haul because THAT undoubtedly will be 1 /

 

all over TX and other states.

 

This is false. Last year I showed up to Smith St @ 10am sharp and went to the end of the line wrapped around the building and still scored my 2 four packs of BCBS for $19.99 each. Obviously I didn't get the other vintage shit they had for the campers but I still scored what I came for. I still have a four pack of that left BTW.
