Black IPAs are dead? Why?

    Just sent a text message to my friend who lives in Fort Collins to pick me up some. 10% ABV is a bit hot for an IPA for me, but I'm interested. How far out will this make it in distro?

    I suppose you just said you had it in Illinois, which presumably crosses Missouri state lines in transport. I haven't seen it on any tap lists or shelves here at this time.

    To be clear I haven't seen it in IL yet. I just am apparently much better at googling stuff than @EvenMoreJesus.

    In my opinion, they take the worst aspect of a stout (overly roasty bitterness) and an IPA (overly piney) and create a very unpleasant beer. Some love it, just not for me
