Black IPA's are good

    Stone 15th was very good, I forgot about that one. Super citrusy, good call.

    I find most Victory beers to be solid too, but for some reason that YG is just too dank for me. I'll drink it, but it's not a favorite.

    In my opinion some are good and some are bad, just like every beer style out there.

    Had Pyramid's Discord from their Spring Pack. Its ok I guess but not great. Didnt seem well balanced.

    The only black IPA I've ever had is from Revival out of Providence. It was some pretty good stuff. They haven't been churning this stuff out though, so any you find is probably a little older than it should be.

    It seems that some taste more like an IPA and some taste more like a hoppy stout. I think the key is to find one that is balanaced and isnt slanted towards either.

    Black IPAs are good - in other news water wet, sky blue. Coming up weather and traffic on the 1s.

    This one great beer and came to mind as soon as I saw this thread, and it's not quite as easily accessible but Cigar City's Humidor Double American Black Ale is awesome, too.

    Mikkeller Cross Breed Gypsy & The Goat is by far the only example of this style I can say I actually enjoyed.
