It's on the shelves. 1 12 oz per person. Enjoy.

Meh - not worth the 10 minute drive. Apparently the brewery is limiting to 1 bottle?

Yeah I guess that comes from the brewery. 1 case per store and 1 bottle per person and the store is not allowed to cellar any of the beer. The last stipulation seems odd to me.

Can't believe the brewery that is limiting purchase to a bottle when at the brewery the limit was a case. I think stores are just that limited in what they got and it's going to be harder to increase the price of a 4 pack that is $26 but many would be willing to pay $7+ for a bottle.

I agree completely. In fact, as I was driving home I thought about all the people on the forums who went to the general store and purchased 3 cases by bringing mules with. And I got 1 whole bottle. Lame.

It was good on tap, but nothing too special. I won't be breaking my neck to get any, but will scoop one if I see it chilling at one of my go-to shops.

How annoyingly controlling. Will they allow us to consume them in one sitting, or will they have a stipulation for that as well:wink:

Any idea on bottle counts? Debating whether to make the drive.

Thanks! Made the drive, 5 bottles left as of 2:40 for other BA's who are wondering.

I was told 40 cases statewide. Got mine for $6.49. When you think about the prices people pay for new, local, average, or flavor-of-the-month bombers or 750s, it doesn't seem that unreasonable. Nor does $5.49 for a 12 oz Flying Dog Wild Dog (Barrel Aged Gonzo) that's sitting on shelves all over town. If you've shelled out $15 for something Lift Bridge, $20 for Steel Toe, Black Note is a bargain. The mystique has died down a little since the tap availability has gone up, but it's still a fabulous beer.

Easier to get on tap than in bottles! That seems odd.

I'll let you guys forage for the glass, I'll wait for another keg.

Yep, totally. I've had it on tap maybe 6 times since August. Getting it in bottles is ROUGH haha. Being able to buy cases at the general store is the only way it makes it worth it to live in Michigan - totally kidding, not really. Seriously, kidding.

Fall's Liquors in South MPLS had over half a case left behind the counter this evening. One bottle limit.
