Just got a four pack today. Should I set a couple down for aging or drink em fresh!? I've never had this but am glad I got some.

Since you have never had it you have to drink one
fresh. You could wait 3 to 6 months and try another
and see which you prefer. I like them fresh but everyone
    Is obviously different.
    Cheers!

I see little value in cellaring a beer that you have never consumed fresh. You need to establish a basis for comparison to accurately judge any potential improvement or change. So drink at least one now.

As for the beer itself, I personally can't say that I prefer it at one certain age over another. The beer starts out smooth, it does not need the time to mellow out. It also does not have time sensitive ingredients, like coffee, that are going to fade quickly. It really is a great beer to experiment with age. Try it at different increments and see what you like.

Bells website states that Black Note has unlimited shelf life. Drink one now and then another one every 3 months.

The 2014 I had this weekend was phenomenol. So good in fact I don't even want to age it. I didn't get much heat and it was smooth and creamy.

Definitely what others have said, drink one fresh to see how you like it. A month ago I had a 2012 and it was phenomenal, I think it was better with 2 years than fresh but to each their own.

I doubt I could age one of these. I tried my first from a trade a few weeks ago, it was lovely.
Wish I had more but they´d last days not months if I had.

Same here. Thought 2012 was a touch better than 2014, both awesome though.

I'm at a loss as to why this question keeps coming up with even one bottle, none the less four! Why wouldn't you drink it now? You may love it the way it is; you may decide that you think it needs to age. (And, lucky you, you have 3 more bottles with which to experiment!) You may hate it completely and want to rid yourself of the other 3 bottles. You know, just because a majority on this site "love" or "hate" something doesn't mean that you'll feel the same way. However, if you don't drink one now how will you ever know???
