Anyone with experiencing using these? I`ve got a medium toast white oak honeycomb that I would like to use in an all Centennial IPA that I just kegged yesterday. Suggestions on sanitizing?

you can boil it prior to adding...or you can try soaking it in a spirit like rum or tequila for a little while. Personally I'd wait for a more robust, darker beer for it's first use though. It could turn into liquid plywood quickly...

I`m actually planning on using 1-2in of White Oak for 5-7 days while dry hopping in the keg. If it starts to get over the top I`ll be able to pull it out of the keg immediately.

I've got one sample from every variety they make. I haven't used any of them yet, but my plan is to boil for 5 min, and drop it in. Time-frame will be taste dependent.

I actually ended up boiling a 2in piece for 5 minutes last night, then attached to dental floss and dropped into the keg. I`m also dry hopping concurrently, but the honeycomb and hop bag are on separate threads of floss for removal.

Those were used do a Commemorative NHC beer brewed by Founders, it was an IPA and worked really well.
