I've got a simple question. Will The Bruery sell Black Tuesday on their website like they're doing with White Chocolate. Or will you have to at least be a Preservation Society member in order to get one?
Lastly, what is the cost, 30 or 40?

Unless things have changed, they use another site to sell Black Tuesday. I'm a member this year, so I think I'll be able to buy it directly from The Bruery's online store, but if you're not a member (RS, Hoarders or Preservation) I think you have to go to the other site.

To clarify, you can buy online, but you still need someone to pick it up, yes? They don't ship?

In the past (I've been successful two of three years) you logged onto the Provisions site for the general public sale and try to get your bottles. First year, I got three, shut out next, and last year the limit was two. $30 has been the price and you do need someone else to pick it up for ya. Thankfully I have a cousin who lives there!

Is the Bruery having a BT release party (as they have in the past) or just releasing the beer for sales on Oct 29?

The Bruery will sell Black Tuesday on their website on Oct 29th, usually 10am sharp. They will allow the general public to purchase whatever the max bottle count for this release and will ship in California only. Hoarders and Reserve Society can also purchase additional bottles guaranteed. I can trustee for someone if needed. The release party is the 29th also, later in the afternoon.

The Provision Shop is closed now, no? Just order off the site and use a proxy?

So in advance, does anyone in California want to be a proxy for me? I order the bottle and have it shipped to your house, then you send it to me. I'll pay the shipping costs or maybe we can trade something to balance it out. It could also lead you into a great trading partnership once J Wakefield opens here.

How crappy is this, my wife is going to Disneyland the week BEFORE the release of this beer. So close, yet so far away.

Did they announce another public on-sale? I was wondering if they'd go that route, or use BT as a way to sell 4th quarter provisions memberships to unload a couple things they have large leftover supplies of @ a discount. Win-win really, but it's more expensive than BT solo.

Are they doing online only, or will brick and mortar stores get limited shipments as well?

I've got an even simpler question: might there be any kind souls in the Reserve Society who can purchase/might have two extra tickets to the actual release party for sale to a Boston homie who just so might happen to be in the area that very day? I thought in the past they used to sell release party tix in a similar fashion as the extra BT's i.e. online to the commoners....
