Black Tuesday 2013

In hindsight that makes sense, but based on past experience I figured it would have been sold out by then. I guess quite a few people gave up yesterday, which left available inventory later than usual.

Also, I know it would have only taken a few minutes to order, but once I walk through the door I switch to daddy mode - I usually have about an hour between the time I get home and when my kids go to bed, and I try to give them as much of my attention as possible.

Question: What time do I get home from work?















Answer: Usually around 7pm

 

I just have one of each year left, sorry. A local friend has offered to sell me one of his bottles, once he has all three safely in-hand, but thank you for the offer.

 

if we were able to order some online yesterday are they already available for pickup at the Bruery?

Bottles became available for pickup yesterday - 10/30 and are scheduled to start shipping by Monday.

We're still getting caught up with responding to emails received since Tuesday, so if you have not received a response to an email sent to [email protected], we thank you for being patient

And as I'm sure ya'll can imagine, the Society desk is seeing alot of traffic this week, so please be prepared to sip on something while you wait, or plan to come in next week as things start to slow down a little bit.

Has anyone been notified that their online order has been shipped? I'm not seeing any change on my order status.

 

Not yet. They said they would start shipping Monday but it could take a few days to get all orders out. Usually when I order from the website, I will not see a change in my order but will get a email from GSO telling me its on its way. Haven't gotten mine yet and I live in Cali.

 

Mine came in the mail Friday

 

Mine shipped last night and is supposed to arrive today. Is a signature required? I'm not gonna be home from work till 4:20.

For those that have tried it, how is this year's BT? 2012 is tasting pretty fantastic right now.

 

I opened a bottle of '12 at the late Tuesday party and had it side by side with '13.
'12 still has more booze heat then '13. Loved them both. '13 is far too easy drinking. I think I would drink a whole bottle of '13 by myself.

I thought 2013 Chocolate Rain was more syrupy than previous. Is the 2013 BT similar in that regard? I will have to manage my diabeeetus after the last few Bruery shipments and SD Beer Week
