Strange. I had the same beer, plus the sour red and the Belgian single, all were good. None great, but good.

Exactly - although on that note I had a bottle of Speckled Ghost from Borealis and it was pretty tasty. Maybe this was just a bad bottle from Blacklist...

Grabbed a bottle this last weekend too. My only complaint would be that the bottle was extremely over-carbonated. That cork flew off as soon as the cage was twisted off and the bottle foamed for a good 20 minutes while I slowly poured into a glass. After it settled, I thought the beer was a very good belgian style golden.

Good news. I must have had bad luck. I even took a picture. This was glass 1 of 2, so no sediment should have been present. Super murky and no head:

I must have got all of the suds from your bottle. Like I said, the foam was ridiculous at first, but once it was all in the glass, the head was amazing. Looks like they have carbonation issues on both ends of the spectrum.

Looks like Spruce Tipped and Wit Noir is starting to hit shelves in the Twin Cities (Zipp's and Lake Wine & Spirits).

I sampled some of the Spruce Tipped IPA on Saturday at the Ale Jail. Decent stuff, but not good enough for me to payr $10-15 for a bomber of it with so many other good options around.
