Blackrocks

Spiro's is very good. Spud's Bistro has killer pizza, but lacks on beer. Maybe some of the best pizza I've ever had. Try the "Pizza con Salicce y Funghi" it is amazing.

Thanks for the heads up. Will run around Iron Mt. and hit Escanaba at some point. I have been going up to Iron Mt. my whole life and bringing my own beer. Wasn't until last summer that I had a can of 51k and Nordskye that I started to explore what the UP had to offer.

 

Was surprised to see Blackrocks in stores in Madison this week. My favorite local shop had 51k, Honey Lav, Classic Pilsner, and the coconut Brown. I've only had Murray Project from them previously, looking forward trying the Pilsner this weekend.

 

The Classic Pilsner is one of my favorite beers of all time. And 51k is about as perfect as a summertime kayak beer can get. Also, keep an eye out for their Rhythm Lager. Really glad to see them making more inroads into WI. Keeping my fingers crossed that they make it up here to the NW corner of the state.
