Blaeber or 50n4e

    Just trying to figure out if some bottles I have could possibly land me one or the other of these. Also wondering what kind of ratio id have to go with. Thanks in advance for any advice. Here's the bottles I could offer up.....

    Side project:
    Thicket
    Blanc de blancs
    Blueberry Flanders
    Bite du pays
    Saison du ble

    De garde:
    Imperial apricot bu
    Berry bu
    Dark harvest
    Kiwi bu
    Imperial Blu bu
    Imperial peach bu
    Deux tetes
    Saison desay blend 1

    50n would be more obtainable and you would probably have to do a few of those to get there, primarily using the sp. Blabaer well be little more difficult and would probably need more of the higher end sp to get: fuzzy, b&w, things like that. Blabaer trades pretty high.

    id agree with mlhyatt
    but personally id be more interested in degrade...youll have to offer 3-6 of those beers

    Perhaps even more than 3-6 since they retail pretty low, or maybe 3-6 of those + a few of the 'lesser' De Gardes?

    Based on everyone I know who has traded for Blabaer, your best bet is to trade with someone in Denmark (either IP or shipped). For example, when I was in Copenhagen for work a couple years ago, I traded about $80 of limited, but not exceptionally rare, beers for a 750ml. (Something along the lines of a Dark Lord, a couple HOTD bottles, some Cascade stuff.) Granted this was a couple years ago, and the 2014 release was unusually small, but you'd still give up a lot more trading with someone in the US who has one. Also, as a general rule, Europeans tend to be more interested in big stouts than American sours.
