Meh it was good. But not great for me. Too in between. Just hoppy enough that I wanted more hops. Just roasty enough I wanted more of that. I guess that means it was well done in between but I would have preferred it to be more towards one or the other. Preferrably on the hoppy side. Just my opinion.

Yep, canned on date is on the bottom of the cans. Mine was 3-10-14.

I actually would prefer more of both considering they labeled it an imperial. I really enjoyed Stones 15th Ann Escondidian or whatever it was called. This reminded me of that, but is missing that imperial helping of ingredients. This is really just a regular black IPA (still of high quality though IMO).

Stones 15th was the best Black IPA I've ever had. It was much better than SSR in my opinion. I was always hoping they would brew it again

Agreed. Blakkr is very close, but again, just not as good. Definitely worth your time seeking out if you liked the 15th though.

Anyone had one lately? It's still on shelves and remember how well the Stone 15th held up and curious if Blakkr is the aging well?

I think they brewed another batch of it. I remember a second batch coming in to a few stores here.

What's on shelves now is a batch from April. It should be gone pretty soon.
