I have about 6 bottles left of a beer that I bottled too early before the yeast could clean up after itself. They are fully carbed. I am actually about to bottle the re-try of that very recipe, dry hopped version.
I'm thinking of bottling the first 4 gallons as normal, and then open and slowly pour the bottles of the older, messed up batch down the side of my bottling bucket, blending them together, then bottling.
What do you think would be the results? Worth a shot? Would I over/under carbonation be a concern?

Dilution is not always the solution:slight_smile:...blending in your pint glass is almost always easier/better than what you are suggesting, IMHO.

It's an interesting idea, and at your expense, I'd like to hear the results. I'd be concerned with oxidation. I REALLY wonder what would have happened if you added these beers into your fermenter just as it was finishing up.
