As I am enjoying a blend of the 2 beers I have on tap I was wondering if anyone else does this. For what it's worth the blend is an Oktoberfest marzen with my homebrew India brown and it tastes pretty good. Anyone else try this and did it turn out good or bad?

one of my good friends who is also a very good beer bartender makes it his mission to blend beers at the bar for the regulars.

the trick is to try and combine beers by name. this works well for dark and strong beers. so if you have Victory Storm King and maybe, I don't know, some chocolate stout, you'd get Chocolate Storm. Find something feminine to go with the Storm King and make it the Storm Queen. That kind of nonsense.

Sometimes the best beer combos only need a 75/25 or 90/10 blend.
You get the idea. Have fun. Getting a name that works is half the fun. Come up with something creative and while it might not be great at least it is a dumb excuse to try something new.
    Cheers.
