Last Autumn, our regular hangout bar (Carolina Blue in Sewell, NJ), had on tap both Founders Breakfast Stout and ST PumKing. Torn between which I wanted, I asked our favourite beertender Cynthina to pour me a sample of 1/2 FBS and 1/2 STP. It was delicious. I took a sip then offered it to my best friend, who held up her hand for a high-five after tasting it. We both ordered a full pint of the mixture. At home I've done Dogfish Punkin with FBS and it works well also.
I've also done ST PumKing with their Creme Brule and that's tasty as well. I'm curious when they come out with the Warlock Pumpkin Stout this year, to mix it with Creme Brule as well.
I've also done Kasteel Rouge with Stout before and it's damn good, too.
Weyerbacher encourages a mix of Storm King Stout and Hop Devil and I have heard of Dogfish's mix of WWS and 120 but haven't had it.

I am sometimes tempted to mix a Bud Lite with an MGD just to keep the calories down. I am just kidding. I mix Central Waters BB stout 50/50 with Central Waters BB cherry stout because I made the mistake of buying 20 bottles of cherry (tart cherries are you fucking kidding)

Anyone ever blended wine and beer together? With so many stouts and sours aged in red wine barrels i figured the right mix could definitely work. Been thinkin bout tryin it.

I know a couple breweries have done it with whites, but I found them all kinda nasty

I had a bartender blend me a Dog Fish Head 60 and 90 to make me a 75 minute a few years ago. I know its not EXACTLY the same, but I thought I was pretty cool. And it tasted great too.

Anyone try a Founder's Breakfast Stout and Rubaeus? For some reason I am curious, just not a big fan of blending...

As an after dinner, just going to have one drink, on occasion I'll mix a healthy shot of port into a glass of porter. It's sweet, a little boozy and pretty damn good.

Oh yeah, that sounds like a plan too. Looks like you went like 1/2 FBS and 1/3 Rubaeus looking at those bottles? That about right?

Pretty close to 1/2 and 1/2. Wish I had more Rubaeus to experiment with.
