That would be one way to cut through (some of) the sugary sweetness of Creme Brûlée. Might also be good to have a second person around even if you do a blend - I've found that having a friend to share with is the easiest way to finish a bottle. I love me some ST Blackwater series, but damn was it tough to finish the entire bottle of Creme Brûlée on my own.

That's some funny math. Each of those beers comes in 22oz bottles, so unless you're splitting it 8 or 9 people you're going to be drinking a bit more than 5 ounces each.

Im all for interesting mixes. But this is teetering a little too close for comfort on the pinnacle/smirnoff vodka flavors. Whats next, bubblegum cottoncandy?

80/20 ratio is on the mark for a tasty treat. Don't overdo the Creme Brûlée.

Sounds like an awful concoction. Not exactly a constructive comment, but it just sounds bad. Taking one bad beer and adding a 2nd bad beer still makes it a bad beer. Just different.

I love both the OP (@nick0417 intriguing idea!) and the first response (@jlsims04 going blech!).

I hated Pumpking the only time I tried it. I neither hate nor love pumpkin beers; I've had a few that I thought were pretty good, most are mediocre, and some are terrible. Pumpking fell into that last category for me.

But blending it with Creme Brulee (or Mokah)? Well, I'm interested, now.

I've done Sam Smith Imperial Stout or Org Chocolate with their Org Raspberry. I went a little heavy on the Ras at first but i dialed it in eventually. A shot of Linde Fram or Kriek in a Harpoon UFO is tasty. I did a Peche and Harpoon IPA too and enjoyed it. Fruit lambics in Berliners can be good. My friends and I did a "Quad night" a couple years ago and poured the ass end of a Rochefort 10, St Bern 12, Boulevard BBQ, and (i think) a Weyerbacher Quad into one glass and passed it around. I can't really remember if it was good, but i remember breaking the glass it was served in when i tripped over my cat.

Not sure if this one really counts as 'blending' per se, but I like to swirl some bourbon around my glass before pouring a shelf stout to add a little umph

I have a bottle of Hill Farmstead Bourbon Barrel Maple Syrup and want to try mixing it with BCBS to create a "maple" version.

Has anyone ever experimented with this? If so, what was method? How much did you use per volume?

The way I think about it is you could go about it two ways:

    1) Pour BCBS in glass put in a tablespoon or two, mix
    2) Pour Maple Syrup in a different vessel and then pour BCBS in bottle and let it sit for a day or two.

Just wanted to get anyone's thoughts who might have tried this before.

    Thanks!

There's no point in using your HF bb maple syrup. IF you're insistent on making your own variant of BCS, you may as well just use regular maple syrup. There's no way you'd be able to tell the difference between an expensive barrel-aged version versus a regular shelf version.

Has anyone ever tried blending KBS with Breakfast Stout....? Sometimes I am in the mood to turn down the barrel bite of the KBS a notch. I only have 3 KBS left till April 2016, so I don't want to waste one on a failed blending attempt.
