Oh I can get 'em, just takes time, money, travel plans, a few spare weeks, and, oh yes, more money.

If I could ever get my hands on a banger I would love to try it!

I'm trying to wrap my head around why you made a video of it but nothing is apparent.

The recent post by @derkwithano re: the blending of Heady and Focal Banger got me thinking of some other different blends folks have tried. Post your best pics/concoctions.

Here's a few of my favorites. Enjoy!

I hardly ever, make that almost never, blend any beers, not really my thing. But one blend that is good and is common in these parts is blending Troegs Dreamweaver Wheat and Troegs Mad Elf, makes a Mad Dream. Many folks do half and half but it can be adjusted to your taste obviously.

Blended parts of Gold Wax Assassin and BA Sump and the result was awesome.

Both beers on their own are incredible but the blend took it to another level.

....one I had on tap at Founders was 1/2 Mango Magnifico & 1/2 Nitro Rubaeus. This was surprisingly VERY good.

I have a keg of Stone Old Guardian W/Pekko hops & a keg of Victory Java Cask Stout, & mixing those two bring out the best qualities of both! Seems to smooth out all the conflicting tastes in the 2 beers.

I once used 6 ounces each of GL Edmund Fitzgerald and Ghost Face Killah in a beer bread mix, the former for body and the latter for heat. I mixed the remaining 6 ounces of each and drank it. Well, some of it. The mixture tasted like GFK by itself. The bread was good, though.

I'm planning to mix a shot of Malibu with a can of Ten FIDY later. I call it Twelve FIDY Death By Coconut.

This thread has given me an idea: Well's Banana Bread, and a chocolate Stout. I bet it would be amazing.

I blended a Hofbrau Munchen Helles and Dunkel the other day. Had the color of a Marzen, but had a mild dark-fruity maltiness unlike a Marzen - a little more hop crispness as well.

Conducting one now. 2015 Stickee Monkee for me is a bit too sweet & sugary, but the barrel presence isn't lacking. 2016 KBS drinking very nice right now. A marshmallow BOMB & the coffee has faded enough now to let the base beer shine, but I felt this beer was lacking barrel presence. So, I blended the two equal parts. Taste is subjective. For me, I love this concoction. Better than Stickee Monkee, arguably an improvement on KBS. The Coffee cuts the sweetness nicely. Fellow BAs? Similar experiments? Go!

Every once in a while, I get bored. As we all do. Staring at two beers, both well-established with my palate, I think...why not mix em? Today I found a good pair. The borderline ripely sweet, resinous, malt-dense and scintillating coniferous notes of the Molotov Lite match nicely with Grunion, which displays a delicate malt presence with herbaceous, bright tropical melon. These two fit together like a glove.

I'd like to see what semi-inebriated combos other BA's have found nice (if they dare to be as foolish and audacious as I...ha!)

Sure, even a drain cleaner like Southern Tier's Creme Brulee can be made palatable by blending with Lager.

Crime brûlée might even taste better WITH drain cleaner. Although I wouldn't want to be put out of my misery just yet.

I did this not too long ago. The chocolate and the peanut butter helped cut the sour tartness of the infected BCBBW, I actually liked it. I have another, I'm gonna mix it with a Brooklyn Chocolate Stout.
