What is your opinion on Blichmann brewing equipment? I'm considering buying some, specifically a 7gal fermenator, beer gun, 10gal boilermaker brew kettle. Any thoughts on these products?

I love my boilermaker with false bottom and hop blocker -they are both great!

I have the top tier system all gravity fed. I absolutely love it. I have it tied in with Natural gas. I bought the 15 gallon boil kettles for doing 10 gallon batches. You can get by a lot cheaper building your own system. I have no complaints with this company. Good luck.

It is well engineered shiny stuff. I have a conical, beer gun, and hop rocket.

Will echo premierpro...you can certainly get a good system together for a LOT cheaper. But I've got 2 boilermakers, one for my mash tun & one for my kettle as well as several pieces of blichmann accessories scattered through my system like their sparge arm, their burner and his gloves. To me, there is usually a reason you pay the extra...it's all very well engineered and top quality.

I have the burner and a 10 gallon boilermaker. I am happy so far.

Great stuff...except their Thrumometer (worthless)...none of it is ever discounted that I have seen.
