Blind BA Stout Tasting Results

    BA boris a good addition too. i think i'm of the minority opinion that it could hold its own in a parabola, BCBS, KBS, etc tasting.

    older viscosity too, honestly, but it's markedly different than the others somehow. i'm not sure why, but i don't lump it in with other BA stouts. despite how good (in my opinion) old viscosity stands up to regular RISs like stone IRS et al, older viscosity always gets grouped with "BA american strong ales" like angel's share in my mind.

    For what it's worth, I find BA BORIS to be better than any of those aside from the BCSs. It's a mightily underrated beer with the base being world class. Regular BORIS would trounce any of the non-barreled equivalents.

    Very nice lineup. I was pleasantly surprised how drinkable BA Pt5 was fresh. One of my favorite BA stouts, especially since it was released in a 12oz format.

    And for what it's worth, both Goose KH and Bourbon Coffee were the notorious winners for our Blind Barleywine and Blind Coffee tastings recently.
