    IMO, a lot of the top barleywines are equally great, it just comes down to personal preference or in some cases, age.
    At our Denver tasting, one of the things that was regularly noted is that KH and Bligh's were ready to go and pretty much perfect straight out of the bottle on the day they hit the shelf. Some others absolutely needed to sit for a bit longer. I'm sure that can play a role, too.
