Blind Pig?

    i'm guessing i gave up & didn't search hard enough (admit i only could stand two pages of search). anyway, did RR stop bottling Blind Pig altogether?

    It's my understanding that they are continuing to bottle it, and distribute it. However, bottles are no longer being distributed to Southern California.

    This..I haven't seen it in at least 6 months in So. Cal and I frequent all the local RR spots.

    I have seen it on draft in recent weeks, though. So it seems that they are still sending out kegs to the places that used to get it.

    Last time I had Blind Pig out of the bottle was 6/17/14 (thanks, Untappd!). I'm pretty bummed about this. Blind Pig is one beer I never pass up in bottles. Definitely better than Pliny.

    to be fair, keep in mind, at this point, i heard that from a single source. nobody here has confirmed thus far, which, it is still early but if it were a well known fact chances are someone would chime.

    p.s. i'm in Northern CA --- just in case guys are getting the impression i mean they stopped bottles to the southern half of the state. the merchant i spoke with claims the brewery is no longer bottling Blind Pig, period. it was his assertion it's gone keg only, indefinitely.

    I heard from east Pasadena whole foods that blind pig wasn't going to be distributed to SoCal as well.

    I got Blind Pig (6 bottles total) in L.A at two different places a month ago (I'll check date on bottles). From what I heard from talking to a few people in the know, no more distro to so cal. A damn shame.

    Was just up there last week and got 4 bottles of it. I heard it was only gonna be available in bottle at the brewery, and it would have very very limited local distro. Kegs were still being shipped and sold as usual

    Yeah when I was up there on the 13th I'd heard the rumor that it was not going to be distributed, so I asked the person at the Merch table. She confirmed that it was still being bottled, was no longer being distributed, and would only be available in bottles at the brew pub. Of course they had ran out of Blind Pig bottles so I couldn't get any to go that day. They were also down to 4 cases of Pliny bottles, and Compunction blew right as I was getting my pour.

    My stone rep told me that bottles were no longer coming to So Cal. I would say a pretty reliable source.
