What are some blind tastings you've done and what were the results? Just Did Pliny, permanent funeral, abrasive, heady, and ninja vs unicorn.
    my results:
    1. permanent funeral
    2. nvu
    3. heady
    4. abrasive
    5. pliny

Just had a blind of multiple jai Alais. Cans, diff dates, tap. They all taste different. Mystery solved...

OT, I'd really like to get my hands on a bottle of PF and a can of Heady Topper.

But I'm surprised Abrasive and Pliny (the 2 on that list that I've had) are so low. I really enjoyed both even though they are VERY different in flavor profiles.

They were all fantastic and it was not an easy decision. I am very sure that permanent funeral and nvu are my top 2 though. Did a blind tasting a week before this with some of the same beers and my top 2 were the same.

Always surprises me but one common thing is that in almost every case of doing vertical tastings, people always prefer the fresher/newest year. I guess I need to clean out my cellar before things even get worse.

For Three Floyds, I actually prefer Dreadnaught to Permanent Funeral. If you ever get a chance at a bottle, snag it.
