a ton of Sticky Hands 4-packs at Belmont Station tonight, but quickly dwindling and actually may not make it past tonight or tomorrow. Also saw it on tap at Lardo downtown today.

Pretty darned good and great value -- not as awesome as some of the early recipes but not really complaining.

It was at Lardo on Hawthorne last week and was still one of the best IPA's around.

Any clue what the pricepoint was?

"Mt Sticky" was mostly depleted, but there were actually a couple cases left when I arrived this morning.

I got two bottles of Sticky Hands at Bottleworks last week. Would love to be able to buy it regularly.

It was great on tap...I'll dance on kegs in PDX. No real need to get canned beer, outside of those nice WA brews.

I did get some on tap. But a lot of the time it's not just me I hunt for... OK, all the time

Were any hand trucks spotted at the scene of the crime?

I got a 4 pack last night in Eugene at the release... paid quite a bit more than the $12.99 Belmont price which I am not too happy about. Looks like I will have to make the short drive to the brewery whenever they release a new batch to get my cans... ah shucks!

Got a 4 pack at market of choice in Eugene for $12.99 yesterday. Not sure how much they had.

But Eugene to Corvallis is 47 miles one way ... I imagine you can pay quite a bit more than $12.99 and come out ahead on gas and time! ;-)

@Kurmaraja Sure, but it's the principle of it all. I could take a day trip, hang out at the brewery, enjoy numerous brewery only beers, and pay a fair price for the beer I really wanted. Or, I can drive across town and pay an uncalled for mark up on the same beer that goes straight into the pockets of a bottleshop that continually marks up beer prices. If I'm going to invest the extra money, I'm going to give it to the brewers.

Did you pick up your 4 pack at the Bier Stein (thought I saw you over there on Thursday)? $12.99 is what I've seen every place else around town (16 tons, MofC, etc.), and BS is the only place I can imagine where you would have paid more than that.

@John_M Yup! It's all bs, that BS is the only place in town I continually pay more for beer than everywhere else in town. Had I known that MofC had receive cans I would have gone straight there instead.

Me too. It's weird. On most things, BS prices are pretty close to the Eugene norm, but every once in while I'll find something there that's really out of line (price wise). It's reached the point that I only buy bottles and cans of beer there if I can't find the same beer any place else in town.

I bought two cans of Ft. George IPA there yesterday because it wasn't available (yet) at 16 tons or MofC. Price was in the $6.60 range, which I'm fairly certain is on the high side.

Yeah, they have the Deschutes reserve beers for $2-3 more than MofC, and there is even a Bi-Mart in town that sells those beers for $5-7 less than BS if you hit it on the right day. I rarely go there anymore for the same reasons stated above.

I have to agree with you guys, I like the BS, but almost never buy beers there to go unless it's something special no one else has, which is rare.
