Was there this afternoon and they had FP and Giving Thanks, no Raspberry. Thanks for the heads up on the FP in your earlier post!

Ahhhh.... OK. Maybe I misunderstood him, about which two they still had bottles of. Sorry about that.

Sounds like it's probably too late, but I'd be happy with 2 more if you come across them.

Yeah, sounds like it's too late on the Black Framboise. However, let me know if you want any FP, or even any GT, and I'll see what I can do.

Curious if anyone has opened bottles of Figgy Pudding and found them to be "off"? (Reluctant to start this conversation for fear of unwarranted cries of "infection".) I haven't opened any of mine but heard some unfavorable comments from a reputable friend.

I really enjoyed it on tap - more than most - and I know that Block 15 went out of the way to reassure folks that they'd tested it and were confident of quality. That earned my trust. But before I dig into my bottles wanted to tap into the experience of others.

    Thanks!

I opened a bottle of this year's Figgy Pudding a couple days after Thanksgiving and found it absolutely delicious.

Thought it was off from last year. Liked both but giving thanks I thought was better overall. Maybe they should of concentrated more on figgy. This year it just seemed too tame, though no infection in bottles so far.

OK - fingers crossed this was an isolated incident.

I think I should point out that this is the first year I've had Figgy Pudding. I stand by my assertion that it was delicious, but I could not tell you if it was different or "off" from previous years.

Nick told me at the Figgy release they were never going to mess with c&c 750ml again, so I'm guessing we're seeing 500ml and 375ml for barrel-aged stuff from here on out.
