No kidding....Hop and Vine sold out day one, and they had a one per person limit. Our favorite little place in SE had a few cases left yesterday, and no limit though. I hear they are releasing more next month too. What a brew...

He has been releasing a different version of Sticky Hands each month. He had about 5 total in mind and would continue cycling through them one per month. I believe the one that just came out was supposed to be the original one that he released. Next month is some citrus version, I forget what the email said. But yes, they have all been fantastic and in my opinion, in a league above Enjoy By.

Different stokes and all that... it was on tap at Bierstein some weeks back. It wasn't awful, but I didn't think it was particularly wonderful either. I wouldn't order it again.

However, this was roughly a month ago, so based on LoPo87's post, maybe it wasn't the same beer the OP is referring to.

Ive heard the same things. I personally love Enjoy By, but this was very impressive. Pumped for the citrus version. Do you know if this is an annual brew. Dont want to sound like a chump, but Ive never heard of it until a week or so ago. Is this the first release of it?

I believe he first released it in February. It should be released the first saturday of every month with it rotating as which version of Sticky Hands it is.

I was at Belmont Station last night and they had a ton of it left if anyone is looking for it.

Thanks for the heads up! I thought I had missed out on this batch, but I just stopped by the station and they had cases of it on the floor.

All the bottles I've had have ranged from good to great. Although, there's some degree of personal variation... I really liked Reino and thought High Five was only good, where other people I know had the opposite opinion. I haven't had any batch on tap, though, as I'd honestly be a little worried about how old the keg was.

I also wish they were being a little more obvious about the fact that "Sticky Hands" isn't a single beer....

A hair unbalanced for me, but the nose is insane and makes up for it.

"as I'd honestly be a little worried about how old the keg was"

Based on some of the comments on this thread, I'm now wondering the same thing. The beer I had at Bierstein... there was nothing particularly unusual or wonderful about the nose, and while the beer had some unusual flavors (due to the type of hops used in the blend I asumed), I didn't find it particularly attractive.

After reading over these comments, I feel as if I definitely need to give it another try.

I enjoyed my batch 1 Sticky Hands (High Five I think) on-tap during the Block 15 anniversary party, and took home two bottles. Both bottles were nice- grassy, some sweet malts, little piney resin, kinda had some nice Simcoe & Citra characters throughout. I did prefer the draft though. Not mind blowing, but certainly a good beer.

My problem with Sticky Hands were my bottle fills. The bottles were insanely low and uneven. One barely reached the base of the neck.

Bottle I drank last night was labeled May 2 2013. So you're probably right. Go get one the hops are fading as we speak!!

Glad the rest of the country can't get their hands on this beer, they'd shit their pants over it.

Nah, that's reserved for beer from Vermont or Munster.

Had one tonight. Bitter and stanky, in a good way. Bottled 5-2 as well.

According to their website, Bailey's has it on tap and in bottle right now. So maybe I'll head over to try it there today.

On the other hand, I have to head back to Eugene today, so maybe I'll call ahead to see if it's still on tap at the brewery (the site says that it is, but as it hasn't been updated in over a week, who knows).
