Greetings All, I'm very interested in trying some Block 15 beers, either the strong ales or big stouts, & just wondering what kind of trades people have made for them recently. Figgy Pudding, Super Nebula, Pappy's Dark, Imagine, anybody trade/trade for a bottle of any of them lately? If so, what for?

    Thanks for the info.

Bourbon County Coffee and Bourbon County Bramble rye. Ratio of 1 bottle of the BCBS varient for 1 bottle of block 15 beer. In other words $4$. Both traders were happy.

Huh. Looks like there isn't much of it being bandied about, which would explain the difficulty in landing them. Anybody who has Block 15 want to chime in with what you've traded it for, if you would, or what it might take to pry it out of your hands?

I've been trading my Block 15 items for Bruery stuff mostly.

I recently traded a bottle of Figgy Pudding for a Fou Foune. Super Nebula was quite limited, as was Imagine. There were a few more bottles of Pappy's Dark this year, but the original run was also quite small. Those beers especially are so well-made that I think most people who have them and are active traders value them pretty highly and are not looking to get rid of them.

Ferme de Demons and Ferme de la Ville Provisions are easier to obtain and don't stand out quite as much to me, so I guess those would be easier to obtain.

Almost all of Block 15's bottles are brewery-only release, and the brewery is in Corvallis which is out of the way for most Portlanders. Only a few bottles make it to Portland, usually with a 1-2 bottle limit per person. Hope that helps!

Thanks guys. Guess I'll wait until the next run arrives & see if I can nab a bottle then.

I always tell people I don't have any, ask if we can work out a different trade, and then sneak a block 15 bottle as an extra!

$4$ + brewery only release/hard-ish to find seems to be fairly standard

I'd sign-up for their newsletter...that way you'll know when bottles are coming and can try and get someone to pick some up for you. They do amazing beer...Super Nebula is in my top five easily.
