I am brewing a blonde ale today. It is currently mashing. How long am I supposed to boil the yeast for optimum performance?

Don't boil the yeast! Boil the mash runoff and hops. You'll kill the yeast if you boil them.

Add the yeast to the wort in the fermentor after the boil and when you have the wort temp down to 70 or lower.
