Blow Off Tube question

    sorry if this has been asked before.

    brewed my Brooklyn Beer Shop Everyday IPA today (first time).

    I'd left to watch the game and just came back to check on it and see that it looks like a little wort and some kind of sediment has made its way up the tube and into the bowl of sanitizer. Sediment is also left inside the tube.

    Should I clean out the tube and replace the bowl with fresh sanitizer?

    It doesn't look like there is any more (for now) liquid coming up.

    Cause for concern?

    A little antifoam before fermentation kicks off does a lot to save volume of precious beer. If it were me, I'd let it ride. It's all sanitary and shouldn't hurt anything. Just soak it really well in warm oxyclean to remove the krausen after you're done with it.
