I took a chance and bought my ticket yesterday while at the casino. I was checking out the display for the event being set up. One of the guys came over to me and asked if I had any questions. I asked him what breweries were committed to the even. He said the list was big, too big to remember all of them by name, about 50. By the looks of the display, Schlaflys, New Belgium, Rogue, Boulevard, Bells and New Holland were some of breweries showing up. This is my first brewfest and I am looking forward to it. I am hoping to bump into some BA's while there, too. Cheers!
It was my first (and only, so far) brewfest. I enjoyed immensely! They had wide selection of breweries from the area and country, as well as some of the BMC reps. I bought the brewmaster package; which included food pairings, a second session with firkins, and of course, the main event. You received a bottle opener, t shirt, pint glass and lanyard. The list of breweries and their selections was impressive. The only draw back was, it was my first fest, and I was like a kid in a candy store. I wanted to try everything! (50 breweries with about 4 styles each.) I didn't map or plan it out. I wound up not drinking beer for a couple of months after that. The closer it gets, you should be able to get more info on the line up. Check their website. I am planning on attending again; a little more experienced this time!
