Went to Whym then Blue Lobster yesterday.

Excess was one of the most remarkable and excellent beers I've had this year. I could see why some wouldn't love it - it's insanely fresh and concentrated in flavor - but I fell in love. Picked up another Little Lobster on the Praire, which they are down to the last couple of cases on.

Little Lobster On Thr Prairie has sold out from the brewery. So much gratitude to all who had a part in that beer.

@sleepydave any future plans to distribute to any other restaurant or beer bars besides WHYM?

Community Oven and 401 Tavern both have them on tap. I believe Poppers in Newmarket might as well.

Correct. Currently we are at WHYM (portsmouth), 401 Tavern(hampton), Community Oven(hampton), Cask and Vine(derry), and Poppers(newmarket). Expansion on that front is up to the owners and not myself, try shooting them a message on the brewery's facebook page.

Going down tomorrow. Excited to try the new excess. Also, just happens to be second week in December... the unnamed Biere De Miel must be coming close.. @sleepydave ?

I still haven't heard anything from the owners regarding labels at this time. It's near fully conditioned though. Reading more like an autumnal (late) saison everyday. And just for what its worth Paul's Boutique is stunning IMO.

Just FYI, the Russian Jew/Belgian Imperial Stout should hit the taps next week. 13% abv monoculture adjunct imperial stout. Draft only.
Another month has passed nearly, still no word about labels for Paul's Boutique or the Autumnal BdM as of yet.

Will it be available for tasters at the brewery? Any idea where to look for it on tap? I would really like to give this one a try.

Yeap, tasters and growlers at the brewery, plus it will be offered to accounts to my knowledge. Small yield due to the high abv and our mismatched kettle/tun though.

Thanks, I will definitely be grabbing a growler of this.

Is that a monoculture meaning only one strain? Care to sound off on attenuation or any other fermentation notes?

Yeah just a singular strain. It doesn't fit as neatly in a category as id like. Pm'd with details.

I hope to stop by this brewery next weekend. My son has a hockey tournament down that way.
