Blue Moon Clone recipe

    Blue moon has ingredients listed on there website. They use chinook hops last I checked. It's a terribly simple beer really. I used forbidden fruit when I made my knockoff.

    [​IMG] My guess would be something noble along with a lower alpha acid domestic hop.

    I brewed a clone of the summer honey wheat a few years back. Chinook was listed on their website at the time. Not that there is a hop presence in that beer at all...

    Thumbs up on the Indian Coriander,.
    Curious about adding coriander or Grains of Paradise to the mash.
    If memory serves, and it often doesn't, seems I remember reading those were typically a late boil addition, or even at flameout.
    Not that either way is right or wrong, but it got me wondering about what impact adding them to the mash would have on the nose. That's why I'd add them anyway, especially Paradise seed (of which a little goes a long way).
