Blue Moon Vintage Ale Impulse

    Made with Cabernet juice 8.5% abv. Anyone know anything about this?
    Coors attempt at limited craft or just a bottle of slop. Saw it on a shelf
    for $11. Is it worth a try?

    Sounds awful. Dfh did this and it wasn't very good, can't imagine how bad this will be

    i had it and i was disappointed. it tastes like grape juice and beer. not worth the price.

    So they mixed Blue Moon with Grape Juice, basically? Sounds better than a "Michelada", or whatever the hell that was, but still not worth trying for $11, IMO.

    I had a Blue Moon Vintage Ale maybe two years ago as a joke at a tasting. It was just an amped up normal version of Blue Moon. No grape juice in that year I guess.

    Thanks for the good warnings. It did not seem like it was any goos but u never know. It cam stay on store shelf

    Yeah, there's a Budweiser version too. Beer & clam/tomato juice? Blech.

    If it wasn't $11 i'd totally give it a try. I have a tough time pulling the trigger on an $11 non-barrel aged bomber from real craft brewers, forget about it from Blue Moon.
