I know this post alone will probably piss a few of you off... but has anyone tried it? I was crusing around total wine the other day grabbing a few bottles, and I came across their Proximity and Impulse. The graffiti collection makes me want to punch myself, but the vintage collection at the very least intrigued me. I didn't buy them, but I have to give them the benefit of the doubt that they might be good. So has anyone tried, worth it? should I?
Not tried it, though if the price is right I may. I have steered away from Blue Moon products, but occasionally will drink it if offered one at a friends house.
I got two bottles for Christmas last year. IT came with two glasses and a bucket. I drank the first bottle two weeks later with a friend. Shes a wine drinker and she loved it. Those bottles were mixed with grape wine (thinking Chardonny or how ever you spell it). I wasn't a fan. I aged the second bottle for 6 months and decided to drink it. It was better. If you decide to buy them, I would recommend you let them age for a bit. (cellar, back of a closet with no sunlight where ever you can.)
thanks for the tip. They were like 8 or 9 bucks from what I remembered so I think I am going to pick a couple up and do some aging experiments for the fun of it. Better to do it with 8 bucks than 20 bucks right?
i'm no good at that game. I say I will buy two, and next thing you know I have 2 of those, and 4 or 5 other bottles because "I saw these and I need them!"
I actually hate the OG blue moon, and have never tried the seasonal options... but I have to imagine with the amount of money and knowledge behind them, they have it in them, buried deep down inside, to brew something good. I've been wrong before, so we shall see haha
and for the most part, I do give every beer the benefit of the doubt. Since we all have different tastes, I may hate one of the top 10 best beers, I guess I am an equal opportunity drinker haha
