Different takes on "afford," I suppose. Either way, just busting your balls a bit. I understand where you're coming from. I don't think BM is as bad as people here make it out to be, but there are certainly better beers you could spend the same money on.

Yes but then they might lose out on the mainstream consumer that buys most of their stuff and many of whom don't know much about good beer. The latter part is important for them, I think. :grinning:

If you don't believe me then talk to the people who are pushing Stella Artois so successfully.

Yes, if you sort by the total number of reviews as opposed to overall rating...lol

My opinion is that all their blue moon varieties taste like the basic blue moon (belgian) pale ale with various spices and flavorings added to create all the different varieties. And I still think the coors banquet and killians red at the end of the brewery tour were awesome beers. I think the pumpkin beer was one of the best pumpkin beer available. The rest of the variety pack was pretty forgettable.

Sort of off topic, but unfiltered wheat beers make me sick, like horrible hangover sick after just a couple. Summer Shandy, Bell's Oberon, Blue Moon, and seemingly anything in that realm. I'm not allergic to other wheat products (like bread/pasta) but get horrible headaches and stomach discomfort from wheat beer. Anyone else ever experience this?
