Has anyone picked up some yet?

Back a few years ago when BP first released Mosaic IPA in the tasting room I was blown away since it was the first mosaic forward beer I had tried. While light on the ABV, it was a really great taste that I hadn't experienced before. When they decided to bottle Mosaic Session I of course thought it was the same recipe only to be sorely disappointed that it was pretty different. Since then I haven't bothered trying it again.

Fast forward to yesterday when I saw an IG post that said they were canning it. Of course I had to find out if it was the original tasting room recipe or the bottle recipe (aka not brewed at BP) and surprisingly BP acknowledged it was the bottle recipe and not tasting room. Since canning this beer was new and I was going to be at my local shop yesterday looking for Mexican Cake, figured I would give it another shot.

This beer is actually pretty good fresh in the can, I was pleasantly surprised. The 4 pack I picked up (16oz cans) was canned on May 4th and it was only $6.75! This could be a new cheap option for the beach, hopefully they don't become shelf turds like a lot of the other BP beers.

Love Mosaic -- probably one of the better session IPAs I've had. Will definitely pick up some cans this summer.

Totally underrated brew. Hopefully the flavors are still bursting with the new format.

Is this beer brewed at an AB brewery (e.g., Baldwinsville, NY)? Does it list a location on the can?

    Cheers!

That's a good question, I don't know if they moved all of their bottle/can beers to AB facilities instead of the contractors they used to use. I'll take a look at the can when I get home.

Picked up a 4 pack of this yesterday for $7 and was pleasantly surprised. I enjoy Mosaic on tap, and this was right up there with it.

For the price, solid go to for a beach beer!
