They probably built it into the listed price of $17, in which case their "retail" price was $15.94 before tax+deposit.

I like when stores do this - I seem to remember that this is how prices are listed in Europe, so you pay exactly the price you see listed. Might be just certain countries over there, though.

 

Did you get any indication from Rave of how available this is going to be? Most people in this thread seem to be fairly optimistic, but when it comes to SE Mich distro, I'll believe it when I see it.

 

There is a lot, even for the area that Rave covers

 

I did enjoy this but it tastes like a imperial rubaeus to me.. take your 18 bucks and get about 10 woodmasters instead

Available at Downers Grove Binnys Looks like they had about 5 cases too, so shouldnt be too hard to get.

I chose both and I'm glad I did. I'm really looking forward to putting some age on Blushing Monk. Same thing goes for Woodmaster but I'll bet Blushing Monk flourishes with age. I'm going to the beer store tomorrow and I want to pick up more of both if they are available.

 

Bought two bottles in Madison today. One for $15.99 and the other for $14.49.

I think you are underestimating the crazy Chicago craft beer environment - sold out by 6:30 PM.

 

Had the 2011 2 years ago and then this past summer both amazing. The second time more than the first. Haven't had it fresh. Will soon though.

Just curious if you actually did a side by side? We did on Sunday at founders and we thought this would be the case but everyone agreed they were really quite different and Rubaeus was lacking. I love Woodmaster but you're comparing apples to oranges here- or imperial nutty maple syrup to a Belgian with raspberries.

 

I thought more like 10 woodmasters to 2 rubaeus

 

Looks like it's finally hitting Oakland County today. Scooped up a few bottles at Holiday during lunch.

3 bottle Limit. I could be wrong here...but I'm going to agree with others and say this will not be hard for people to get as it looks like Founders made a TON of it
