I have 2 of last year's L&L and 1 bottle of last year's Blushing Monk. I curious if anyone has cracked either of these lately, and if so, what you thought.

I can imagine the L&L morphing into a different beer with time. I'm sure it would lose that fresh maple flavor, but others could come forward. I can also see both as being best fresh (particularly the BM), but who knows? You all do! Or at least I hope.

I had Life & Limb B2 in the fall/winter and it was great. I have two I'm aging, I'm sure it will be fine.

From what I've experienced, Blushing Monk has gotten better with age. I'm speaking to the '11 batch, but I'm very curious to hear how the '07 is drinking.

Had a life and lim a few months ago and it was still great. I have two more that I'll be hanging on to for a while longer.

The blushing monk I had last weekend was really good.

I drank my last B2 Life and Limb around a month ago. Really didn't notice much progression over the fresh bottle I had last summer. Still tasty though.

Those were in 12 oz bottles. Smaller bottles will age much differently than larger format ones. Certainly would be interesting to see how they've held up.

I had a Blushing Monk at one year, it was glorious. My other one will be opened this Christmas.

22oz, so only 3 oz different. Had an 07 year and a half ago, thought it was great but not hugely different than 2011 fresh.
