I've been trying to package these two beers as part of a trade for Prop and Vanilla, but have pretty much gotten crickets. Am I way off on value? I would certainly add to make the deal if I could find a trade partner.
You are probably getting crickets because, I believe Founders announced they are brewing Blushing Monk again. You will probably need to offer something different.
Your ISOs are hot items right now. Your FTs not so much. Add to that, Blushing Monk is being re-released as the next Backstage beer. Also, looking at your ISO:FT post, the stuff listed (although good stuff) might not be enough to pull in someone with what you're looking for. Vanilla and Prop seem to be pulling in some harder to find stuff. Just my two cents.
If I had either of those beers I'd trade for a blushing monk without thinking. Best beer founders released IMO. Better Half is good but don't think it could get a prop or vanilla.
Thanks for the insight, I assumed that was the case. With the popularity of the BCBS varients and a new run of Blushing Monk coming out, I probably need to set my sights on something else. Probably the biggest ammo I have is a bottle of CBS from the 2011 bottling and a 2011 Black Tuesday, but even those don't seem to have a lot of trading pull these days.
